Cube 63

63 Clinton St.,
Lower East Side

Though 63 can be expressed as the difference of two cubes, it is not itself a cube. So, this Chinese-run sushi place shakes my belief in two ethnic stereotypes: that my people are good at math, and that my people are bad at making sushi. Feeling too lazy to order carefully, we had a very tasty raw tuna appetizer and then got the regular sushi combo and some rolls and a bowl of noodles. The service was good and so were the prices. We're definitely coming back for some more adventurous fare.

They do fusion pretty well...it's more experimental than most sushi, but not the usual war-in-your-mouth that you get from most fusion places.
